Basic Tailoring Skills
THE OBJECTIVES OF BTS:
- To equip FDWs who are keen to acquire and/or upgrade their skillset through the art of creating and customisation by using cloths to design their own outfits.
- To provide an experiential learning and challenge to the FDWs to discover more about their own creativity and nimble-ness through the programme.
TAILORING BASICS MODULE (24H)
- Basics in tailoring
- Basic patternmaking
- Use of sewing machine, stitches
LEARNING OUTCOME
The trainee is able to complete one dress/one blouse at the end of the programme.
ASSESSMENT
There will not be assessment performed but the trainee will be assessed on her knowledge and skills applied when she learns the basic principles in tailoring.
