Basic Baking Skills


THE OBJECTIVES OF BBS:

  1. To equip trainee with the skills and knowledge to prepare for simple and common pastries in Singapore.
  2. To equip trainee with the safety and hygienic techniques from preparation to end product.
  3. To teach trainee a variety of pastries

 

SAFETY, HEALTHY AND HYGIENE MODULE (2H)

  1. To educate on the safety precautions in dry kitchen
  2. To instill the importance of 100% adherence to hygiene
  3. To adopt healthier methodology and dishes in meal preparation

 

MEAL PREPARATION & OUTCOMES (10H)

Day 1 – Sponge / Butter Cake
Day 2 – Butter Cookies / Chocolate Cookies
Day 3 – Cupcake / Muffin

 

ASSESSMENT

There will not be assessment performed but trainee will be assessed on every lesson on their safety and hygiene adherence.
